MUSIC MINISTRY
GOALS and OBJECTIVES 2010
Goal #1
The entire church congregation will participate in the group praise and worship experience.
Objectives:
1) That Christians express their appreciation, adoration, honor and reverence for the Lord Most High.
2) To glorify God
3) To encourage and lift up the people
4) To create an atmosphere of God's presence that encouragesfaith, enhances the move of the Holy Spirit and rids the environment of negativities that may hinder the effectiveness of the ministry.
Interventions:
1) Continue to sing songs and hymns
2) Explore and perform new songs that best fit this church congregation
3) Seek and acquire anonymous input from members that would benefit the team and improve the overall efforts and outcomes of the ministry

Goal #2
To form a church singing group comprised of COFCOGIC members.
Objectives:
1) Provide an opportunity for Christians who enjoy singing to do so.
2) That God be glorified through song.
3) That gifts of music and singing would be exercised, brought forth, utilized and grown.
Interventions:
1) Identify those who are interested in forming the group.
2) Decide on rehearsal time, song selections and perform practices.
3) Seek out opportunities to attend music workshops and conferences.

Goal #3
The congregation at COFCOGIC will have a clear understanding of the role of praise and worship in the church service.
Objectives:
1) That Christians will come to realize that the ministry of praise and worship is extremely important in cultivating a climate ripe for the supernatural move of God.
Interventions:
1) Continue researching the ministry of praise and worship by attending workshops, online methods/articles etc.
2) Obtain topics/questions from congregants that they would like to learn more about.
3) Prepare and teach at least 2 lessons pertaining to praise and worship.
